What is a Video Tutorial?
A video tutorial is a video that shows someone how to do something. Usually they make it easier for someone to follow and probably more fun than reading 3,000 words xD. Also, usually people make video tutorials on how to do something on a specific program. If you want an example of a video tutorial, you can go to the gradient text tutorial under Paint ;D.

Sounds good, so how do I make one?
First you have to download a free program called CamStudio 2, which can be downloaded on this page (make sure you have permission of the owner of the computer before downloading anything on it xD). CamStudio is a program that can record everything you do on your computer. We are going to make a video tutorial on how to do something on a program.

What's next?
Okay, so now you have to get everything ready before you start recording your video. You should temporarily set your computer screen resolution to 800x600, so your watcher can see everything you're doing. To do this, go to your desktop and then right click >> properties. Click on the "Settings" tab. There should be a box for "Screen Area" and a slidy bar under it. Slide it back to 800x600 or something near that =D. Now you have to open up the program that your video tutorial is going to be based on.

Okay, am I ready yet?
Yup! Open up CamStudio, which should be a blue box thing with squares in it and "CamStudio" under it (obviously). It might show numerous pop-up windows with "Unable to __________", just ignore them and click OK on all of 'em. Don't record yet though, go to Region >> Full Screen, because you want the vid to show all your computer's screen. Now you're ready to record. Go to File >> Record to start recording your video. Go to your program. Now show everything you need to show about how to something on that program xD. It may be a little challenging to do it because your screen resolution is really big, but you'll live xD. If you want to add extra notes to your video, you can open up notepad along the way and type what you want to say, but make sure you open it quickly or it might confuse the watcher :o. Once you're done with your video, go back to CamStudio and then click File >> Stop and save your video (.avi). After that, another CamStudio window will pop up and you will get to watch your video there ;D. You won't be able to edit your video though, but if you made any small mistakes you can always make your video again =D.

How do I show the video on my website/page?
You have to find a host for your video. I use the infamous YouTube, but there are many other good hosts such as PhotoBucket, Video Google, and Veoh. All will require you to sign up. I use Youtube because it tends to upload my video a little faster. But whichever host you use, your video will take years to upload (well not years, but you know what I mean Dx). That's probably the only con to video tutorials. I suggest using a faster computer, because your video will upload faster that way. Also, when your video finally finishes uploading, it'll take a few minutes for it to fully upload, so don't be surprised if your video doesn't show up after you finished uploading: just wait a little while and refresh until you see it :). After it shows up, get the code for it and put it on your site!
