Title: Applying Textures
Program(s): Varies
Description: This tut will teach you how to apply textures to your graphic in two ways
Written by: © Nicolette

Way #1 (my fave xP)://
Note: This will only work with programs such as Paint Shop Pro that have different "blend(ing) modes". I only know of two programs that have different blend modes: Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro..

1. Copy and paste the texture as a new layer
2. Look at your layers palette (if not showing, go to view >> toolbars and work something out from there)
3. On the right to all your layers, there should be a drop down list that says "normal".
4. Select this list and choose "soft light"
5. Done!

Way #2://
Note: This way is open to more programs than way #1 =P. You will need to have a program such as Serif Photoplus or PSP that lets you decrease the opacity of a layer

1. Copy and paste the texture as a new layer
2. Look at your layers palette (if not showing, go to view >> toolbars and work something out from there)
3. Click on the texture's layer once
4. Go to layers >> properties or something similar
5. Change the opacity to a lower number. The lower the number, the more of the texture you're going to see =D
6. OK
7. Done!
