Example:

Step One: Type in the text
You must type in the text so then the outlining process will work.

Step Two: Let the outlining begin!
You should have the layer box (the box that has tabs with words like Layers). Go down the bottom of the box and click the F with the circle around it. Click stroke. You can choose how thick the outline is and what color. I suggest leave the rest alone.

And voila! You just finish an outline!
