Comments: Yup, TBT's first ever layout... the old days. I like this layout a lot actually, except the fact that "The Brain Tree" covers the brain tree pics, but there wasn't anything I could do about that xP. At first the bars seperating the links were white, but 2 peepz said that the white was blinding, so I got rid of it xD. Here's the description I used in the "Bout the Layout" section:
This layout [obviously] features some Brain Trees. The left image on the top banner is from the neopets greetings. The other two are from the neo backgrounds. I used the effect, "multiply" to make the images darker and softer. Then I added "The Brain Tree" using the font, Blob. I added a dropshadow to the text to make it glowy :D. Then I added "Your #1 place for tutorials" using the font, "Arial Narrow" and added a black outline. Then of course, I drew an orange border around it ;). The layout was coded by DreamWeaver MX and took forever XD. But I think it turned out pretty spiffeh :P.

YAY. Second layout! I don't really know how I came up with the theme- but I know it was pretty much because of our mascot Buddy -pokes history-! Unusually, I only used one image for this layout... I like this layout's banner better than the 1st layout's, but I like the first layout's color scheme better. But still, tiss layout ish luff =D. Here's the description I used in the "Bout the Layout" section:
This layout [obviously] features the Pet Pet lab. Inspired by our new mascot, Buddy (check out the History page). For the top banner, I used a graffiti font called "Street Soul". The image is from the neopets backgrounds. I also added some graphics skills I just learned including the "Cool border" technique and the use of textures. I used a dropshadow effect on the text and put dots between the word for some reason o.0. As you can see, our little pile of soot mascot is... happily next to our name xD. This layout has a color scheme of red and darkish brown. Coded by Dreamweaver =).
