Description: This will teach you how to make your text gradient with an outline on Paint Shop Pro.

1. Click on the text tool (the "A")
2. Make sure that on the top bar, it says "Create as: Floating"
3. Change the text properties to your preference, then create your text
4. Click on the paintbrush tool
5. Look at your colors palette (if not there, go to View >> Palette >> Materials)
6. Click on the first color
7. Click on the gradient tab
8. Click on the box with the gradient color in it
9. Choose a gradient
- If you don't want any of the default gradients, you can choose a gradient and then click the "Edit..." button under it. Editing a gradient is kind of hard though, but if you work with it for a while you will figure out how to work it ;D.
10. OK
11. Choose a pretty big brush (not to big, or it might slow down the program) and color in the text
12. Don't deselect it yet! Go to Edit >> Copy
13. File >> New. OK.
14. Look at your color palette
15. Click the first color
16. Click on the color tab
17. OK
18. Choose any color from the colors palette (this will be the color of the outline for your text)
19. Click on the flood fill tool (the bucket)
20. Fill in the entire canvas
21. Now edit >> paste >> paste as new selection
22. Go to Selections >> Modify >> Expand (click okay if an "Auto Actions" window pops up)
23. Change the number of pixels to 1-4 (will be the thickness of the outline)
24. Edit >> Copy
25. Go back to the file you want the text to be on
26. Edit >> Paste >> Paste as new layer
